A standard HughesNet subscription offers download speeds of 400Kbps to 1.5Mbps. Upload speeds range from 50kbps to 250kbps.

DVB-S2 technology
The HughesNet Ku band platform is fully DVB-S2 ACM compliant. One of the great benefit of DVB-S2 ACM is that your modem can tell the teleport about local weather conditions in order to adapt the way data is transmitted to and from your system.
